IPL Skin Rejuvenation
IPL Skin Rejuvenation
Illuminate your skin’s natural radiance
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Skin Rejuvenation is a non-invasive treatment designed to improve skin tone and texture by addressing various skin concerns such as sun damage, pigmentation, redness, and signs of ageing. Utilising broad-spectrum light, IPL targets the deeper layers of the skin, stimulating collagen production and promoting a more youthful, even complexion.
How It Works:
IPL delivers controlled pulses of light that penetrate the skin's surface, targeting melanin and haemoglobin to reduce pigmentation and vascular imperfections. This process also stimulates collagen and elastin production, enhancing skin elasticity and reducing fine lines.
Benefits:
- Reduces sunspots, age spots, and freckles
- Diminishes redness and broken capillaries
- Improves skin texture and minimises pores
- Stimulates collagen for firmer skin
- Minimal downtime with long-lasting results
Common Treatment Areas:
- Face
- Neck
- Décolletage
- Hands
- Arms
What to Expect:
During the procedure, you may feel a mild snapping sensation as the light pulses are applied. Post-treatment, some redness or slight swelling may occur, typically subsiding within a few hours. Pigmented areas may darken temporarily before fading to reveal clearer skin.
Treatment Time:
Approximately 30–60 minutes, depending on the treatment area.
Recommended Course:
A series of 3–6 treatments spaced 3–4 weeks apart is recommended for optimal results. Maintenance sessions may be scheduled as needed to sustain improvements.
Pre-Treatment Care:
- Avoid sun exposure and tanning for at least 2 weeks prior
- Discontinue use of retinoids and certain skincare products as advised
- Consultation and patch test required before initial treatment
